I recently showed a version of my documentary to my supervisor allowing him to give me any pointers on how I can improve it, with this being the last opportunity for me to get their advice before submission.
Overall the response was positive with him being especially impressed with the structure of the documentary.
Of course he pointed out issues with sound or the colour of footage, but these are things I can address through Premiere Pro, the editing software for my documentary.
The main piece of advice I received when it came to how I can improve the piece, is to include more actuality.
Lillie, who is my case study, spends a lot of time in the doc alone playing Fortnite, even though throughout she mentions how she enjoys playing with friends both on the game or outside at the park etc.
As a result, I plan to carry out some extra filming over the Christmas period to ensure I can meet the criteria set to me by my supervisor.
